Role Summary The CTO will lead the company’s technology vision, strategy, and execution, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms to support rapid growth in the fintech space. The role requires deep expertise in financial technologies, digital lending/payment systems, and regulatory-compliant architectures, with a strong focus on automation, speed-to-market, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Define and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans Lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-availability fintech platforms (e.g., lending, payments, wallets) Oversee end-to-end architecture, including cloud infrastructure, APIs, and microservices Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SAMA, PCI-DSS, data privacy) Drive automation and system optimization, enabling fast onboarding and near real-time transaction processing Lead and scale high-performing engineering, data, and IT teams Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and regulators Implement best practices in cybersecurity, data protection, and risk management Collaborate with Product and Business teams to deliver customer-centric digital solutions Oversee technology budgeting, cost optimization, and ROI tracking
Key Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field10–15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a strong focus on fintech Proven experience in digital lending, payments, BNPL, or financial platforms Strong understanding of fintech regulations and compliance frameworks Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern architectures (microservices, APIs) Experience building highly automated platforms with minimal manual intervention Strong knowledge of data architecture, analytics, and AI-driven decisioning is a plus Demonstrated ability to scale systems and teams in fast-paced environments
Preferred Experience Experience in B2C fintech platforms, especially micro-lending or instant loan applications Background in delivering fast onboarding and disbursement journeys (e.g., loans within minutes)
