Site Manager (electrical)

Job Summary

The Site Manager (Electrical) is responsible for managing and supervising all on-site electrical activities related to EPC High Voltage (HV) / Extra High Voltage (EHV) Substation projects ensuring safe execution quality compliance timely completion and full adherence to contractual technical and regulatory requirements. The role covers project execution from site mobilization through installation testing commissioning energization and final handover.

1- Lead and supervise all on-site electrical works including installation testing and commissioning activities.
2- Ensure execution is carried out in accordance with approved drawings specifications and project schedules..
3- Coordinate daily site activities with engineers supervisors subcontractors and vendors.
4- Coordinate with project management planning procurement and QA/QC teams to ensure smooth project execution.
5- Monitor progress against project schedules and report delays or issues requiring corrective action.
6- Ensure availability of materials tools equipment and manpower for uninterrupted site progress.
7- Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications client standards and applicable international and local codes.
8- Review inspections test reports material approvals and installation quality.
9- Support QA/QC teams during inspections testing and punch list clearance.
1- Oversee pre-commissioning testing energization and final commissioning of electrical systems.
1- Coordinate with client representatives consultants and utility authorities during testing and handover.
1- Ensure all commissioning documentation and as-built records are properly completed.
1- Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies permit systems and client safety requirements.
1- Act as the primary site contact for client representatives and consultants regarding site works.

5- Primavera P6 / MS Project.

6- Autocad.

Required Skills:

Educational degree: Bachelors degree and Safety Certificate Special training technology use and language skills: 1- Fluent communication skills in English 2- A safety certificate prevailing in Saudi Arabia. COMPETENCIES: 1 Strong knowledge of construction HSE practices especially HV environments. 2 Experience in live substation / high-risk works (preferred). 3 Ability to enforce safety rules firmly but professionally. 4 Knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and utility safety standards. 5 Incident investigation and reporting capability. 6 Good teamwork sense and active in work. 7 High responsibility sense and professional attitude. 8 Excellent at organization and coordination.
