The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (
ISE
) at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (
KFUPM
) invites applicants for multiple lecturer positions.
KFUPM
seeks to attract exponential candidates with interests and expertise in Industrial Engineering and related areas, with the desire to promote and provide excellence in one of the following:
Operations Research
Production Systems/Supply Chain Management
Quality Control/Statistics/Data Science
Engineering Economics
Industrial Information Systems

Job Responsibility:
The candidates are expected to:
• Demonstrate teaching experience
• Have experience with a programming language, preferably Python and Jupyter notebooks
• Possess excellent communication skills
Successful candidates are expected to:
• Engage in high-quality teaching and fulfill the teaching requirements of the department (teach courses and develop lab activities at the undergraduate level)
• Take advantage of the most recent advancements in their area of study, and incorporate those advancements into the courses that they will teach
• Initiate and maintain research activities/projects with faculty members that result in peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals
• Participate in service by being active in the life of the department and university, including development of the program, and other duties as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
• Two-year renewable contract.

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree from a reputable institution.
