Project Electrical Engineer Location: Saudi Arabia Employment Type: Full-time Department: Electrical Operations & Maintenance Reports To: Regional Project Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Electrical Engineer to lead the Electrical Operations & Maintenance function for a large-scale project, managing a department of approximately 140 personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a large electrical team, including engineers, supervisors, and technicians. Manage electrical O&M, PPM/CM, emergency response, and daily maintenance activities. Plan and monitor manpower, maintenance schedules, KPIs, budgets, and work performance. Oversee electrical systems including LV/MV switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, ATS, MDBs and DBs. Manage contractors, vendors, procurement, materials, and maintenance resources. Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEC, IEEE, HSE, and Saudi regulations. Manage CAFM/CMMS systems, technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records. Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical services.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.8+ years of relevant electrical O&M experience. Proven experience managing large teams, preferably 100+ personnel. Strong experience in large-scale facilities, projects, hospitals, or residential/commercial facilities. Strong knowledge of PPM/CM, electrical systems, NFPA, NEC, and safety requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills. Saudi/GCC experience is preferred.
