Engineer III

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer III to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position involves responding to and resolving customer repair requests, ensuring the preventive maintenance of tools and equipment, and maintaining a high standard of service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer repair requests and communicate effectively to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for operational integrity.
• Transport necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
• Record information on unfinished interventions before shift changes.
• Follow all safety and security policies; report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training; and properly store flammable materials.
• Ensure a clean and complete work uniform is worn and maintain a professional appearance.
• Respect confidentiality regarding company and hotel-specific information and protect company property.
• Welcome guests according to brand standards, anticipate their needs, assist disabled persons, and thank guests warmly.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
• Develop positive professional relationships with peers, collaborate to achieve common goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.
• Use clear and courteous language in all communications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place loads weighing up to 23 kilograms independently.
• Capability to climb and descend stairs, service access, and ladders.
• Ability to perform extension and flexion movements on the knees, including bending, turning, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or professional institution.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License: A valid driver's license is required.

Additional Duties

The Engineer III will also perform all other tasks requested by managers that correspond to the position.
