Engineer III

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer III to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position involves responding to and resolving customer repair and maintenance requests, ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of equipment and facilities. The role requires 2-5 years of related work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer repair requests and communicate effectively to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, and conduct visual inspections.
• Transport necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves.
• Manage maintenance inventory, ordering parts and supplies as needed.
• Record information on unfinished interventions before shift changes.
• Adhere to all safety and security policies, report hazards or incidents, complete required safety training, and properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of company information, and protect company property.
• Welcome guests according to brand standards, anticipate their needs, assist disabled persons, and thank guests warmly.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
• Develop positive professional relationships with peers, collaborate to achieve common goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
• Use clear and courteous language in all communications.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing loads up to 23 kilograms independently.
• Climb and descend stairs, service access points, and ladders.
• Execute extension and flexion movements involving bending, turning, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational institution.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License/Certification: A valid driver's license is required.
