Engineer III

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer III to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role involves responding to and addressing guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues, and performing a variety of essential maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations. The position requires 2-5 years of related work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for operational integrity.
• Transport necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves.
• Maintain appropriate maintenance inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
• Record information on calls not completed before shift changes.
• Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and obtain relevant certifications.
• Store flammable materials safely and securely.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guest service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees, communicating using clear and professional language.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
• Ascend and descend regular stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is required.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience. No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License: A valid driver's license is necessary.
