Supervisor Restaurant

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, is seeking a Supervisor Restaurant for a full-time position in the Red Sea region. This role involves overseeing restaurant operations to ensure optimal service and guest satisfaction, maintaining high standards of organization and cleanliness, and supporting management in various operational and human resources functions. Key Duties and Tasks

• Ensure staff teamwork to guarantee optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff personal hygiene and attire, rectifying any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing tasks, including organizing supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises.
• Inspect the organization, cleanliness, and FIFO method application in storage areas.
• Complete scheduled inventories, stock, and order necessary supplies.
• Control seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining rooms.
• Process work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, organizing, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as an example and first point of contact for the "Fair Treatment Guarantee and Open Door Policy" process.

General Responsibilities

• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain the privacy of company proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and meet quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, dragging, and placing objects weighing less than 50 pounds ( kg) without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for the entire work shift.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats and inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting at the waist, crawling, and leaning.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and climb and descend stairs and/or service ramps.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language, answer phone calls using appropriate etiquette, and respond appropriately to employee problems.
• Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
