Logistics Specialist

Job Summary

Job Objective:

To ensure the efficient of logistical operations including the receipt and shipment of goods inventory planning coordination with suppliers transportation companies and drivers and to ensure compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise shipping receiving and warehousing activities.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery in the required condition.
• Prepare logistical documents (such as invoices shipping documents delivery reports).
• Communicate with suppliers and transportation companies to confirm delivery schedules and address logistical issues.
• Manage the team of drivers organize their daily schedules and distribute tasks according to work plans.
• Monitor driver performance and ensure their adherence to delivery routes driving behaviors and safety procedures.
• Address any delays or operational issues related to transportation and vehicles.
• Manage inventory levels and update records regularly.
• Contribute to process improvement by suggesting solutions to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health safety and transportation policies.
• Prepare periodic reports on the performance of logistical operations and submit them to management.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 23 years of experience in logistics or shipping.
• Experience in managing drivers and the ability to handle field operations teams.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and logistics software.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Effective communication skills in Arabic English and Urdu.
