About the Role
Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib (HMG) is seeking an Associate Accountant to manage payment-related transactions. This is a permanent position suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in accounting. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely processing of various financial transactions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process advance payments, patient refunds, and employee dues.
- Maintain petty cash funds, ensuring proper reconciliation and documentation.
- Respond to payment-related queries from immediate superiors as requested.
- Control and maintain the logbook for bank cheques.
- Process payments to suppliers efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare journal vouchers (JVs) for all refund transactions.
- Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Contribute to enhancing the patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
- 0-1 years of experience in an accounting role.
