About the Role
KBR, Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to join our team in the Eastern region. This full-time role involves overseeing and managing subcontracts from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience in subcontracts administration.
Role Overview
The Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for qualifying suppliers, issuing requests for proposals, evaluating proposals, and maintaining subcontract files in accordance with established procedures. This position ensures all subcontract activities adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate subcontract terms and conditions, including price, delivery, quality, and performance requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all subcontract activities and documents.
- Ensure compliance with governing and applicable laws and relevant regulations of the Subcontract.
- Work closely with various departments, including finance, projects control, legal, and project management, to ensure seamless subcontract execution.
Required Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in subcontracts administration or a related field.
