• The role of the Container Service Yard Operations Supervisor is to oversee and manage container yard operations by coordinating with customs agents, trucking companies, port and statutory authorities and mange 3rd party service providers

• The Container Service Yard Operations Supervisor is resposible to ensure the CSY operations team adheres to all SOPs when conducting activities, achieve customer satisfaction and track and improve the CSY team’s performance

• The role of the Container Service Yard Operations Supervisor requires a strongly motivated person with great leadership and problem solving skils.

• Manage the profitability and loss.

• Manage the daily container yard operations according to the set guidelines and procedures by ensuring operating tools and fork lifts are well, maintained, premises are secured and following other statutory requirements.

• Supervise and manage daily container service operations such as maintenance, loading and unloading, stuffing & destuffing to meet the requirements of Bahri Logistics’ customers.

• Implement initiatives to improve costs for CSY operations.

• Implement the product strategy for CSY to ensure product growth.

• Manage 3rd party service providers and ensure compliance to agreed terms and conditions and service levels.

• Liaise with shipping companies, agents, trucking companies, customs port authorities and other statutory authorities to ensure smooth coordination.

• Adopt and apply new professional strategies and policies within the area of responsibility in accordance with management directions

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor Degree in Marine Transportation, Business Administration or equivalent.

• 8 years of experience in required technical field. At least 1 year in an acting supervisory/managerial role.
