WE ARE HIRING – CIVIL / TECHNICAL OFFICE ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer – Technical Office Engineer to join our team remotely from Egypt, working closely with and reporting to our Head Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Position: Civil Engineer – Technical Office Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare shop drawings for structural and architectural elements.
• Review and audit drawings received from consultants and clients, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare monthly and final invoices/payment certificates and follow up on their approval.
• Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Monitor executed works and ensure conformity with approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Prepare daily and weekly technical/progress reports.
• Review technical proposals from contractors and suppliers and prepare technical comparisons.
• Prepare Variation Orders and assess additional works.
• Prepare As-Built Drawings upon project completion.
• Maintain regular communication and coordination with the Riyadh Head Office.
• Provide technical updates, reports, and required documentation to the Riyadh Head Office.
• Attend virtual meetings and coordinate with the project and technical teams in Riyadh as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience in Technical Office / Construction Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of shop drawings, BOQ, quantity surveying, BBS, payment certificates, variations, and as-built drawings.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and drafting software.
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote working environment.
• Willingness to coordinate regularly with the Riyadh Head Office.
• Candidates must be currently based in Egypt.
