Job Overview

We are looking for an Elevator Engineer – Electrical and Mechanical with practical experience in the elevator field to supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of elevators, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and follow up on projects from the installation phase to final delivery.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of elevators.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical elevator faults, identify their causes, and work to resolve them.
• Read and prepare electrical and mechanical elevator diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Monitor elevator installation work at sites and ensure it is executed according to approved plans and specifications.
• Oversee elevator projects and follow up from the installation stage through testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Coordinate and follow up with elevator companies, suppliers, contractors, and on-site teams.
• Conduct technical site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of work.
• Prepare technical and site reports related to elevator work.
• Identify requirements for materials, spare parts, tools, and technical supplies.
• Monitor the execution of work according to the schedule and quality and safety requirements.
• Provide technical support and appropriate solutions to issues related to elevator systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Previous practical experience in the elevator field, including both electrical and mechanical aspects.
• Experience in installing, commissioning, maintaining elevators, and diagnosing faults.
• Proficiency in reading and preparing electrical and mechanical elevator diagrams.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD.
• Experience in supervising elevator installation work and following up on projects until the delivery stage.
• Previous experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a mandatory requirement.
• Ability to deal and coordinate with elevator companies, suppliers, and contractors.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and estimate material requirements.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and site management skills.
• A valid driving license within the Kingdom is an added advantage.
