Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect to support a major digital banking transformation programme for a Bank in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and solution design across customer engagement and digital marketing platforms.
Design and implement scalable Marketing Cloud solutions covering Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder and related capabilities.
Define customer journeys, segmentation, personalisation and campaign automation aligned with banking customer experiences.
Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM, digital channels, APIs and external banking/enterprise platforms.
Provide technical leadership across architecture, integrations, data models, security, governance and performance.
Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Salesforce teams, marketing stakeholders and banking SMEs.
Lead technical workshops, solution discussions, design reviews and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, enterprise architecture standards and security requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect / Technical Architect.
Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Strong expertise in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio and Contact Builder.
Strong understanding of Marketing Cloud data architecture, segmentation and personalisation.
Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and external systems.
Strong knowledge of APIs, integration patterns and data synchronisation.
Experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions and working with complex customer data.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working within large transformation programmes, preferably Banking or Financial Services.
Desirable
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect certification.
Experience in Digital Banking, Financial Services or large enterprise transformation.
Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud / Customer Data Platform.
Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Engagement, Personalisation and advanced customer journey capabilities.
Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.
Previous experience working with Middle East / GCC banking clients is advantageous.
