Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Manager to join one of our clients, a company operating in the contracting, construction, and fit-out industry in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures across project sites. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with applicable Saudi Arabian regulations, client requirements, and international safety standards while promoting a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific HSE management plans, policies, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian occupational health and safety regulations and applicable international standards.

Oversee daily HSE activities across construction and fit-out project sites.

Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.

Monitor high-risk activities, including working at height, lifting operations, electrical works, hot works, and confined-space activities.

Ensure that subcontractors and site personnel comply with approved safety procedures and project HSE requirements.

Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.

Conduct safety induction programs, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness sessions.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives on all HSE-related matters.

Prepare and submit periodic HSE performance reports, incident statistics, and compliance documentation.

Monitor the implementation of emergency response plans and conduct emergency drills when required.

Promote a positive safety culture and ensure continuous improvement in HSE performance.
