Job description

A strong candidate with extensive experience in industrial procurement and spare parts management is sought. Expertise in the Saudi market and supply chain management is essential for effective sourcing and vendor negotiation.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the complete procurement cycle from PR to PO and through delivery and invoicing.

* Purchase industrial spare parts, equipment, tools, technical materials, and MRO materials.

* Prepare RFQs and analyze offers and commercial and technical comparisons.

* Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and guarantees.

* Develop a network of local suppliers within the Saudi market and international suppliers.

* Research alternatives and technically equivalent spare parts to reduce costs and supply risks.

* Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, production, warehouse, and finance departments.

* Monitor delayed orders and supplies and resolve supply issues.

* Handle international purchasing, shipping, and required import documentation.

* Evaluate supplier performance and contribute to the development and improvement of the supplier base.

* Achieve cost savings and improve procurement process efficiency.

* Utilize ERP systems and prepare procurement reports and monitor open and delayed purchase orders.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.

* Preferably a graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics.

* 5 years or more of experience in procurement or supply, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

* Practical experience in purchasing:

* Industrial Spare Parts

* Mechanical & Electrical Components

* Production Machinery & Equipment

* MRO Materials

* Tools & Workshop Equipment

* Automation & Instrumentation Components

* Strong knowledge of suppliers and the industrial market in Saudi Arabia.

* Experience in International / Overseas Purchasing and dealing with international suppliers, preferably experience with suppliers in China.

* Good knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping, and import documentation.

* Experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and achieving cost reductions.

* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

* Experience with ERP systems, and experience with NetSuite is a plus.

* Ability to read and understand technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, and mechanical and electrical components.
