Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Machine Operator role based in Riyadh, focused on operating a BOBST Folder-Gluer machine. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring the folder-gluer to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate production of packaging materials according to job specifications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing materials, adjusting machine settings, performing basic maintenance, and using hand tools as needed to keep equipment in optimal condition. The Machine Operator inspects output for quality and consistency, records production data, reports any technical issues, and collaborates with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and safety standards. The role also requires following workplace safety procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in the production line.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills, including experience with industrial Machinery and familiarity with BOBST Folder-Gluer or similar equipment. Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including attention to detail for inspecting finished products and ensuring compliance with production specifications. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, maintenance teams, and colleagues on production plans and equipment issues. Candidates should possess proficiency in using Hand Tools for routine adjustments, minor repairs, and machine setup. Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing environments is beneficial, especially with folder-gluer machines. Basic mechanical aptitude, ability to read production orders and work instructions, and commitment to safety and workplace cleanliness are required. Ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials safely, and work in a fast-paced production setting. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; technical or vocational training in machinery operation is an advantage.
