The Health Club Manager orchestrates, energizes, and maximizes the profitability of all activities within the fitness and sports area (weight training/cardio area, group classes, swimming pools, outdoor activities, and beach). As the operational leader of a key profit center within the resort, they manage seasonal fluctuations in client traffic, lead the team of coaches and lifeguards, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. They are responsible for ensuring strict adherence to Sofitel's luxury standards and safety regulations.

Main missions

• Recruit, plan and supervise the team of sports professionals (sports coaches, fitness instructors, personal trainers, lifeguards).
• To unite the team around a culture of luxury service, where personalized support and anticipation of customer needs are priorities.
• Ensure the ongoing training of teams on the latest trends in fitness and physical preparation, as well as on Sofitel hospitality standards.
• Supervise the maintenance and impeccable cleanliness of the facilities (gyms, outdoor crossfit areas, swimming pools, changing rooms) which are highly exposed to sand and coastal humidity.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of the entire fleet of machines (cardio, weight training) and sports equipment to guarantee maximum safety and performance.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, hygiene and aquatic rescue regulations (pool water quality, presence of required qualifications, first aid kits).
• Design an innovative and attractive sports activity program, taking advantage of the seaside setting (yoga facing the sea, bootcamps on the beach, coastal running sessions, aquagym, non-motorized water sports).
• Develop and market premium coaching subscriptions and packages for hotel clientele (leisure days) and local residents (yearly members).
• Organize sporting events or themed fitness retreats to boost sales in high and low season.
• Managing financial indicators (KPIs): optimizing course occupancy rates, tracking sales of private coaching and subscriptions, and managing the department's budget.

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired Profile:

• Qualifications: A state diploma or equivalent in the field of sport/fitness.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of successful experience in managing a high-end fitness club or Health Club within a 5* hotel / luxury resort.
• Required Skills: Energy and Leadership: Dynamic profile, passionate and capable of instilling constant motivation in his teams and to clients.
• Relational excellence: Impeccable posture and communication, adapted to the requirements of a luxury clientele seeking disconnection and performance.
• Sense of organization and flexibility: Ability to manage strong seasonality and quickly adapt activity schedules according to weather conditions.
• Master's degree in budget management (P&L) and subscription management.
• Fluency in French and English. A third international language is highly valued given the international clientele of the resort.
