Junior General Accounting

Job Summary

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detailoriented Junior Accountant to join our finance this role you will support the accounting department by processing financial transactions maintaining accurate records and assisting with financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements supplier statements and other financial accounts.
• Prepare and process invoices payments and receipts while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support monthend and yearend closing activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain organized and uptodate financial documentation and records.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Update and maintain financial data in accounting systems and databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Prepare and submit weekly monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Support senior accountants with monthly and yearly financial closings.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax filings VAT returns and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• 12 years of experience in accounting or a related role (entrylevel candidates are welcome to apply).
• Good experience in accounting software (Odoo) and Microsoft Functions.
• Analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles financial reporting and tax regulations.
• organizational and timemanagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
