Role Summary:

The Operations Executive will provide professional support to Principles resolve shipment-related inquiries and ensure a smooth flow of information between clients and principles. As well asensuring accurate and timely preparation verification and release of shipping documentation in compliance with company policies and customer requirements.

Contract: Permanent

Location: Damietta Egypt (On-Site)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow up with the principal and obtain the discharge list for each vessel.
• Prepare and enter all required import B/L data in the system for uploading to the customs platform.
• Send arrival notices to customers prior to the vessels arrival.
• Prepare and issue Delivery Orders to customers for cargo delivery.
  
• Prepare and send import invoices to local customers after the vessel arrives and the import operation is completed.
  
• Follow up with local customers and principals to resolve any import-related issues.
  
• Coordinate with the relevant internal teams customers and principals to ensure smooth and timely completion of import operations.
  

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• 13 years of relevant experience in Import shipping documentation logistics or a similar field.

• Knowledge of Import shipping documentation (e.g. Bills of Lading customs requirements).
  
• Bachelors degree.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
  
• Basic computer proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with freight forwarding or NVOCC operations or shipping lines.
• Experience with shipping software systems.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
