Role Overview

micro1 is engaging Financial Systems & Accounting Experts to support a customer project focused on accounting operations financial reporting and ERP systems. Youll apply your accounting judgment and financial systems expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs and training data.

Prior experience in AI training or human-data work is required. Simply using AI features within accounting software does not qualify.

Scope of Work

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy calculations journal entries and accounting treatments.
• Review and annotate financial statements reconciliations journal entries and month-end close workpapers.
• Identify accounting errors misstatements and inconsistencies and provide appropriate corrections with clear rationale.
• Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite SAP Oracle QuickBooks Xero and Dynamics 365.
• Apply written rubrics to evaluate rank and grade AI-generated responses.
• Create realistic accounting scenarios examples and reference answers for AI training.
• Provide clear actionable feedback to improve model performance and accounting accuracy.
• Support financial processes from transaction recording through month-end close and financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting corporate accounting audit bookkeeping financial reporting management accounting cost accounting or FP&A with substantial accounting responsibilities.
• Proven experience preparing or reviewing journal entries reconciliations and financial statements.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite SAP Oracle QuickBooks Xero Sage Intacct Dynamics 365 Workday or comparable financial systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with tools such as BlackLine Ramp Brex Stripe Avalara Anaplan Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Prior paid experience in AI training data annotation labeling RLHF AI response evaluation model evaluation or rubric-based grading is required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2 level or above).
• Ability to work independently and meet project quality standards and deadlines.
• Reliable internet connection and immediate availability.
