Job Summary
Develop and execute strategic plans for the healthcare organizations supply chain operations ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Oversee the procurement process including vendor selection contract negotiation and supplier relationship management to secure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
Implement inventory management systems and procedures to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
Optimize logistics and distribution networks to streamline the delivery of medical supplies and equipment to various healthcare facilities within the organization.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including clinical departments and finance to forecast demand plan for future needs and mitigate supply chain risks.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance reduce costs and increase operational resilience.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and ethical principles in all supply chain activities.
Champion sustainability and ethical sourcing practices throughout the supply chain promoting environmentally responsible procurement and logistics strategies.
Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and innovation within the supply chain management team nurturing talent and promoting professional development
Requirements
Education:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field. Masters degree preferred. Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management preferably in the healthcare industry.
Demonstrated track record of strategic planning process improvement and cost optimization in a complex organizational environment.
Strong knowledge of healthcare supply chain best practices regulations and industry trends.
Experience with supply chain technologies systems and supply chain analytics tools.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications are desirable
