Electrical Maintenance Manager - Packing

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance activities within a manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, managing maintenance costs, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Lead daily maintenance activities and ensure the efficient resolution of equipment breakdowns.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify recurring issues, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Drive initiatives to reduce equipment downtime and improve overall maintenance efficiency.
• Manage the maintenance of production machinery, electrical systems, and related equipment.
• Oversee utilities and facility maintenance, including electricity, compressors, cooling systems, water systems, HVAC, and other infrastructure.
• Develop and manage the maintenance budget while ensuring effective cost control.
• Manage spare parts inventory, purchasing requirements, and critical spare parts availability.
• Coordinate and supervise external maintenance contractors and service providers.
• Lead, develop, and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring clear responsibilities and effective performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Analyze maintenance KPIs and prepare regular reports on breakdowns, downtime, costs, and equipment reliability.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance leadership role.
• Strong experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic, packaging, extrusion, stretch film, strapping, or similar manufacturing operations is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance methodologies.
• Proven experience in equipment reliability, breakdown management, and downtime reduction.
• Experience managing utilities and facilities, including electrical systems, compressors, cooling systems, water systems, HVAC, and related infrastructure.
• Experience in maintenance budgeting, cost control, spare parts management, and contractor management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on and proactive approach.
