We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Financial Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance• Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement• Assist with the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements• Process accounts payable and receivable, payroll entries, and bank reconciliations• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis• Maintain and improve internal controls and financial procedures• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making• Prepare tax filings and assist with tax planning activities
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environmen
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle, or Net Suit)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelig)
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlnes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilties
