Role Description

The Junior Agency Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. The role involves coordinating vessel operations, preparing documentation, liaising with port authorities, and ensuring the efficient delivery of shipping services. The Junior Agency Operator will also be responsible for maintaining communication with clients and stakeholders while assisting in logistics and customs-related processes. Timely execution of tasks and adherence to procedural standards are key responsibilities of this role.

Qualifications

• Alexandria, Egypt residents only.
• 6-12 months experience with a ship agency is a must.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills for managing vessel operations and documentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, port authorities, and team members.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for addressing operational challenges and ensuring compliance.
• Basic understanding of logistics, maritime operations, or customs processes, with a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, and knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in maritime operations or shipping services is a plus.
