Flavour Houses is seeking a highly experienced Human Resources Director to lead the transformation and development of the HR function and support the company's next stage of growth.

This is a full-time, on-site senior leadership role based in 6th of October City, Egypt.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong, professional, and performance-driven HR function covering organizational development, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, succession planning, employee relations, HR operations, and workforce planning.

We are looking for a hands-on HR leader with strong manufacturing experience who can assess the existing organization, identify structural and capability gaps, challenge ineffective practices, and implement measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the HR strategy in alignment with business objectives and expansion plans.
• Review and strengthen the organizational structure, reporting lines, job descriptions, spans of control, and accountability across departments.
• Build and develop a capable HR team with clear responsibilities across all HR functions.
• Lead manpower planning and workforce optimization based on current and future business requirements.
• Lead recruitment and assessment for senior management, managerial, technical, administrative, and factory positions.
• Develop strong talent pipelines for critical and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Design and implement a structured performance management system with clear departmental and individual KPIs.
• Strengthen accountability and establish a performance-driven culture across the organization.
• Develop job grading, salary structures, compensation frameworks, incentives, bonuses, and employee benefits.
• Establish and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, internal regulations, and governance standards.
• Ensure full compliance with Egyptian Labour Law, Social Insurance regulations, and applicable employment requirements.
• Coach and support managers in leadership, people management, performance improvement, and employee development.
• Lead employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievance handling, engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Establish succession planning for critical positions and develop a strong second line of management.
• Identify and develop high-potential employees and support internal career progression.
• Implement effective training and leadership-development programs based on business needs.
• Develop HR systems, digital processes, dashboards, and management reporting.
• Monitor HR KPIs including turnover, absenteeism, recruitment effectiveness, retention, productivity, headcount, performance, and training effectiveness.
• Provide senior management with clear HR analysis, recommendations, and action plans to support business decisions and organizational improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership position.
• Proven HR leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
• Experience in food, FMCG, pharmaceutical, chemical, ingredients, flavors & fragrances, or similar manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.
