Senior Scrap Sales & Purchaing Specialist

Job Summary

Job Purpose:

Managing the Groups scrap sales activities from identifying and valuing scrap materials to negotiating with buyers coordinating collection and loading and ensuring maximum financial return.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the collection classification and tracking of scrap and waste materials across the Group.
• Identify and evaluate scrap quantities and types to support effective sales and pricing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with scrap buyers traders and recycling companies.
• Negotiate prices and commercial terms to achieve the best possible return.
• Monitor scrap market prices and trends for different materials.
• Coordinate with Production Maintenance Warehouses and Security to organize collection transportation sorting and loading.
• Monitor scrap sales payments and related documentation.
• Prepare periodic reports on quantities sold and revenue generated.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements during scrap handling and transportation.
• Identify opportunities to improve scrap sales and reduce losses.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

35 years of experience in scrap trading scrap sales scrap purchasing recycling waste management or related activities.

Strong knowledge of scrap materials market prices valuation and trading practices.

Experience dealing with scrap dealers traders recycling companies or industrial waste buyers is highly preferred.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Good command of Microsoft Office particularly Excel.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
