About the role
Key responsibilities

• Running periodic MRP to issue new orders, identify any risks & working on mitigation scenarios if any
• Identifying obsolete & slow moving materials and working closely with the concerned departments on the proper action plans
• Reducing loss of production opportunities and updating the production planning team in case of any risk
• Improving the customers service level by increasing the On Time In Full orders fulfilment
• Working closely with supply planning team to increase the responsiveness to sales orders
• Working closely with the procurement team on updating the planning parameters & SLAs
• Following up with the suppliers on the status of all open orders
• Working with service providers on different modes of transportation & clearnce

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor degree in supply chain or relevant field
• 5 years experience in a similar role in a FMCG manufacturing or Food & beverage
• Experience working with MS Office
• Written and spoken fluency in English & Arabic languages
• ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
