Home Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Pinerium is seeking a skilled and results-driven Home Automation Engineer to manage the planning installation configuration and delivery of smart automation systems. This role focuses on ensuring system performance seamless integration project efficiency and delivering innovative smart environments for residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in home automation smart building technologies Z-Wave systems and IoT-based control platforms.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

• Analyze project requirements and recommend optimal methodologies for home automation installations.
  

• Prepare detailed installation plans resource allocation and technical documentation before project execution.
  

• Supervise and monitor installation activities on-site ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
  

• Conduct thorough site surveys and submit regular project status inspection and quality control reports.
  

• Create and manage detailed work plans and schedules ensuring that all phases are completed on time and within budget.
  

Home Automation System Implementation

• Lead installation configuration testing and commissioning of smart automation systems (lighting control HVAC automation energy management multimedia systems and smart security integration).
  

• Ensure proper functionality and interoperability of all connected devices through Z-Wave protocols (knowledge of ZigBee KNX or similar protocols is a plus).
  

• Develop system programming scenario configurations and user interface customization for client needs.
  

• Implement smart home and smart office solutions with high attention to reliability security and user experience.
  

Technical Supervision and Team Leadership

• Manage and coordinate technical teams during installation programming and commissioning phases.
  

• Provide on-the-job technical guidance quality inspections and real-time issue resolution.
  

• Deliver training sessions for internal teams and clients on system usage and management.
  

Client Interaction and Support

• Act as the main technical point of contact for clients during project delivery and post-installation support.
  

• Conduct client handover sessions including system demonstrations user training and documentation provision.
  

• Gather client feedback to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for future upgrades.
  

Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain complete and accurate technical documentation including system drawings configuration files and operational manuals.
  

• Ensure that all systems are deployed following safety regulations best practices and technical standards.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Automation Engineering or a related field.
  
• 35 years of experience specifically in home automation smart home systems or building automation projects.
  
• Strong expertise in Z-Wave technologies (knowledge of ZigBee KNX Wi-Fi Bluetooth Low Energy is a plus).
  
• Proficient in smart lighting control HVAC integration audiovisual systems IoT solutions and smart energy management.
  
• Ability to interpret technical drawings schematics and automation system designs.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to technical details.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage projects and technical teams effectively.
  
• High-level communication skills for client-facing interactions and technical discussions.
  
• Proficient with project management and documentation software.
  
• Additional Requirement: Candidate must have their own laptop.
