Role Description This full-time remote Online Course Instructor role at Young Minds Institute (YMI) involves designing and delivering engaging online lessons for learners of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. The instructor will create course materials such as presentations, assignments, quizzes, and learning activities that align with established curricula and learning outcomes. Daily responsibilities include hosting live virtual classes, moderating discussion forums, providing timely feedback on assignments, and tracking learner progress using online learning platforms. The role also includes collaborating with other instructors and staff to improve course content, identifying areas where learners need additional support, and maintaining clear, professional communication with learners and guardians. The instructor will ensure an inclusive, safe, and supportive online learning environment in line with YMI’s educational standards and policies.

- Demonstrated ability to design and teach structured online courses, including developing lesson plans, assessments, and interactive learning activities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in both written and spoken formats.
- Experience using learning management systems (LMS), video conferencing tools, and other digital education platforms to deliver remote instruction.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple classes, grading deadlines, and learner communication efficiently.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching practices that support diverse learning styles and promote equity and respect.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with colleagues and adhering to institutional guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area; teaching certification or experience in online education is an advantage.
- Previous experience teaching children, youth, or adult learners, preferably in an online or blended learning environment.
