Strategic Sourcing & Category Management: Direct end-to-end procurement operations for high-volume and specialized production inputs, focusing heavily on raw materials, metals (particularly copper), and industrial chemicals used in manufacturing and finishing. Supplier & Vendor Relations: Build, evaluate, and manage robust local and international supplier networks to secure competitive pricing, superior material grades, and stable delivery lead times. Developer Partnerships & Project Execution: Coordinate closely with major real estate developers and hospitality contractors to align material procurement with large-scale project milestones, custom specifications, and site delivery deadlines. Cost & Inventory Optimization: Spearhead cost-reduction programs, value engineering, and strategic buffer stock management to protect margins against global commodity volatility without compromising production continuity. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the R&D, production, and design teams to source alternative materials and components for bespoke lighting collections. Leadership & Team Governance: Mentor and manage the purchasing department, establishing performance KPIs, risk mitigation protocols, and streamlined internal workflows.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience within the lighting manufacturing or closely related decorative/industrial manufacturing sectors. Proven, hands-on background in sourcing volatile technical inputs, specifically metals, raw materials, chemicals, and copper. Demonstrated track record of successful coordination and supply execution with major real estate developers and commercial/hospitality construction projects. Advanced contract negotiation, financial analysis, and supplier performance tracking. In-depth familiarity with Egyptian import regulations, customs clearance, and manufacturing inputs. Fluency in English & Arabic is a must.
