Job description
Who We Are:
Maa-Althahab is a Subsidiary brand from MAISON DE MAA Group, a leading and most famous fragrance brand in the Middle East and Africa. Founded in 2006, the company pursued innovative thinking in making unique global perfumes which match the lifestyles and personalities of all clients.
Primary Function:
responsible for tracking and recording inventory movements, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and reconciling physical inventory with system data. The role supports warehouse operations by maintaining proper documentation, preparing inventory reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile the daily recording of sales and purchase invoices for retail branches in Cairo branches.
- Conduct periodic visits to branches to review accounting operations and provide support to branch managers.
Prepare and submit daily and monthly financial reports to the Finance Department. - Respond to ad hoc and seasonal reporting requests from the Finance Department, such as promotional and item sales reports.
- Maintain ongoing communication with branch managers to resolve accounting and technical issues.
- Review sales invoices and identify price violations or unauthorized promotional offers.
Prepare comprehensive monthly reports for all retail branches to support daily sales recording and share them with branch supervisors. - Provide accounting support to branch supervisors and supply them with necessary sales reports.
- Prepare income statements for retail branches in Cairo malls and branches
- Conduct monthly analysis of branch expenses and reconcile them with their supporting documents.
- Follow up on e-commerce platforms' accounts and requests, and coordinate with warehouses to process orders and settle their accounts on the system.
- Conducting a periodic inventory of goods in warehouses and branches
- Carrying out goods transfers from one branch to another on the system
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail accounting or branch financial oversight.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reconciliation, and reporting.
