About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to join our dynamic development team in Cairo. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify bugs, verify fixes, and ensure that our final product meets the highest standards of user experience and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated test scripts to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
• Document all test results, track identified issues in bug-tracking systems, and verify bug fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide actionable feedback.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on functional requirements from a quality assurance perspective.
• Support the continuous integration and deployment processes by performing regression testing.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with automation testing tools and scripting languages is a significant plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
