Summary
F6 Ventures is recruiting into its Giza-based investment team, with exposure to venture investing across Africa, the GCC and the Levant. The Senior Investment Associate will take responsibility for workstreams from sourcing and founder assessment through diligence, negotiation and closing. Beyond new deals, the role maintains relationships with portfolio-company management, evaluates follow-on investments and supports growth and fundraising initiatives. It also contributes to fund operations through investor reporting, LP communications and accurate investment records. The position combines investment judgement and financial analysis with direct engagement across the startup ecosystem, on a hybrid, full-time basis.
Key responsibilities
Source opportunities and build relationships with founders, investors and innovation networks across priority markets.
Lead market research, competitive assessment, modelling, valuation and due diligence; assess founders, business models and growth prospects.
Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to management and the Investment Committee.
Manage transactions through closing, including structuring, negotiations, legal-document review and internal approvals.
Coordinate founders, advisers and co-investors throughout execution.
Monitor portfolio operating, financial and strategic developments; prepare reviews and recommend responses to risks.
Support portfolio fundraising and growth initiatives and evaluate follow-on investments.
Contribute to fundraising, LP communications and fund-performance reporting; maintain accurate investment records and databases.
Key requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Five to seven years in venture capital, private equity or investment banking.
Experience evaluating investments and managing transaction workstreams.
Strong modelling, valuation, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
Project-management and stakeholder-management skills, with an interest in working closely with founders.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; ability to use AI and technology tools in research, analysis and productivity.
Nice to have
Relevant postgraduate qualification.
