Video Editor & Visual Storyteller

Create strong visual stories — even when the available footage is limited.

Location: Sheraton Heliopolis, Cairo | On-site daily

Employment: Full-Time | 3-Month Probation

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Saturday – Thursday | Friday Off

Role Description

Transform raw footage, product renders, stock imagery, voiceovers, and limited visual assets into high-pacing, high-retention video content for various platforms. You will craft compelling visual narratives that align with our brand guidelines and direct-response campaign objectives, optimizing videos for different formats and channels to continually enhance the visual impact of Nordix Global’s content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit Reels, social videos, direct-response ads, product videos, and brand content.
• 
  
• Deliver polished short-form edits with a 24–48 hour turnaround per asset.
• 
  
• Build strong visual hooks, dynamic pacing, retention, and platform-specific safe-zone execution.
• 
  
• Apply professional color correction and color grading to achieve consistent, high-quality visuals.
• 
  
• Create and integrate motion graphics, sound design, and typography to enhance storytelling.
• 
  
• Build multiple hook and CTA variations from single campaigns to support performance A/B testing.
• 
  
• Work closely with the marketing team (Content Creator and Media Buyer) to plan concepts and iterate winning creatives.
• 
  
• Maintain highly organized project files, raw footage structures, and asset libraries to ensure timely delivery.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 
  
• Male candidates must have military service completed, exempted, or formally postponed.
• 
  
• 2–4 years of proven video editing experience focused on E-commerce social video, direct-response ads, TikTok, or Reels.
• 
  
• Advanced mastery of professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve).
• 
  
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
• 
  
• Strong visual sense with an advanced understanding of storytelling, pacing, color grading, and direct-response editing.
• 
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.

Showreel Requirement

• Submit a clean showreel or portfolio demonstrating sound design, motion text, color grading, and commercial direct-response edits.
• 
  
• Include 3–5 videos that best represent your storytelling ability.
•

Working Conditions

• Full-time, on-site at NORDIX Global — Sheraton Heliopolis, Cairo.
• 
  
• Mandatory 3-month probationary period.
• 
  
• Candidates must reside in Sheraton, Heliopolis, Nasr City, Nozha, or closely adjacent areas.

Practical Assessment

Final-stage candidates will receive a timed editing task using limited assets. The assessment will focus on storytelling, pacing, color grading, creative problem-solving, and execution — not effects alone.
