Job Purpose: Supporting the Pastry Chef in preparing, assembling, decorating, and finishing pastry products while maintaining product quality, cleanliness standards, and food safety. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in preparing ingredients and mixing pastry batters. Assisting in the preparation of cakes, pastries, and various products. Assisting in decorating and finishing products according to approved standards. Preparing molds, trays, utensils, and workstations. Assisting in portioning products and preparing them for display. Ensuring proper storage and handling of raw materials. Adhering to recipes and production instructions. Maintaining the cleanliness of the pastry section and equipment. Complying with food safety and hygiene procedures. Assisting in minimizing waste and optimizing the use of raw materials. Supporting the Pastry Chef during peak work periods. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in pastries or food production is preferred. Education or training in culinary arts and pastry is an advantage. Basic knowledge of pastry preparation and decoration. Accuracy and good attention to detail. Ability to work in shifts.
