Overview Of The Role:

• The Forklift Operator plays a critical role within the Customer Fulfilment department, contributing to the efficient and safe execution of warehouse operations. The position involves maintaining high accuracy in the receiving process and securing warehouse operations necessary for order preparation and picking. Success in this role is measured by efficient goods flow, inventory data integrity, and adherence to health and safety guidelines. The operator is expected to have a strong knowledge of IKEA operations and contribute to the store's goals through collaborative teamwork.

What You Will Do:

Warehouse Operations

• Execute receiving processes safely and accurately to ensure high efficiency.
• Prepare and pick warehouse orders for store allocation.
• Ensure timely execution of store warehouse tasks to maximize goods availability.
• Perform warehouse operations and administrative tasks effectively.
• Maintain inventory data integrity to maximize product availability.

Safety and Security

• Adhere to all IKEA health, safety, and security policies.
• Actively support colleagues in preventing incidents involving co-workers, third parties, equipment, and the building.

Team Support

• Be available to assist colleagues in the department.
• Support colleagues in other store areas when required.

Skills

equired Skills To Be Successful:

• Skilled in retail and logistics processes.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work duties efficiently.
• Good personal discipline and attention to detail.
• Driving license for Forklift machines is mandatory.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Proficiency in retail and/or logistics processes and tools.
• Familiarity with IKEA brand, culture, values, and organizational structure.
• Forklift driver's license.
