Sales Account Manager – Telecom & Ict Sector

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Account Manager with a strong background in ICT and telecom solutions to manage key customer relationships drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will combine strong account management capabilities with technical industry knowledge and a proven ability to develop business relationships manage sales opportunities and close deals.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Customer Relations

• Manage and develop relationships with assigned customers and key stakeholders to maximize account growth and retention.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers ensuring timely responses to inquiries concerns and business requirements.
• Conduct regular client meetings and account reviews to understand business challenges identify opportunities and strengthen long-term partnerships.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively resolve issues to maintain service excellence and customer loyalty.

Sales & Business Development

• Identify develop and close new sales opportunities within existing accounts and potential customers.
• Promote the companys ICT products solutions and services to existing and prospective clients.
• Achieve assigned revenue gross profit order intake and sales pipeline targets.
• Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts and develop new customer relationships.

Proposal & Opportunity Management

• Lead the preparation of commercial proposals quotations and tenders for small to medium-sized opportunities.
• Coordinate with technical commercial and other internal teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
• Conduct customer presentations commercial negotiations and discussions to secure business opportunities.
• Support the sales process from opportunity identification through deal closure.

Market Intelligence & Business Insights

• Monitor ICT market trends competitor activities emerging technologies and customer developments.
• Identify potential business opportunities and competitive advantages.
• Provide management with insights into customer needs market dynamics and potential growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in ICT sales and account management preferably within the telecommunications sector.
• Proven experience selling ICT solutions related to data centers security systems low-current systems or IT hardware.
• Strong understanding of sales cycles tendering processes and procurement procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer accounts develop sales opportunities and build long-term business relationships.
• Strong communication presentation and negotiation skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand business requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Results-oriented approach with strong business development and relationship management capabilities.
