• Lead and supervise all accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, and payroll accounting.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with EAS/IFRS.

• Manage the annual budget, forecasting, and variance analysis, and present insights to senior management.

• Oversee cost accounting for quarrying, raw materials, clinker, and cement production; analyze cost per ton and identify savings.

• Manage depletion, depreciation, and capital expenditure for mining assets, heavy equipment, and plant machinery.

• Control inventory valuation (raw materials, spare parts, fuel, clinker, finished goods) and coordinate periodic stock counts.

• Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws (corporate tax, VAT, payroll tax, withholding tax) and manage relations with the Egyptian Tax Authority.

• Handle mining royalties, government fees, and regulatory reporting.

• Coordinate with external auditors and lead the year-end audit process.

• Strengthen internal controls and risk management policies and procedures.

• Manage cash flow, banking relations, and working capital, including LCs and foreign currency exposure.

• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team.

• Support ERP system optimization and automation of financial processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (English or Arabic section).

• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CIA is Mandatory. An MBA or Master’s in Finance is a plus.

• 15-20 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role.

• Experience in cement, mining, heavy industry, or manufacturing is required.

• Proven experience in cost accounting and manufacturing financial reporting.

• Solid knowledge of Egyptian tax, labor, and commercial regulations.
