GDG Consultants is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in structural analysis and design, extensive consultancy experience, and the ability to lead structural design tasks across a variety of projects.

Position: Senior Structural Design Engineer

Location: Sheikh Zayed City, Giza

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Develop and review structural design drawings in coordination with BIM and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable design codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project stakeholders throughout all project phases.
• Review and approve design deliverables prepared by junior engineers.
• Participate in value engineering, peer reviews, and technical meetings.
• Provide technical support during construction and respond to site-related structural queries.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a consultancy office as a Structural Design Engineer.
• Proven experience in the design of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, ASD, and CSI tools.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination practices is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
