Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the non-banking financial sector, preferably in consumer finance or cash lending.


• Strong knowledge of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) regulations, directives, and applicable regulatory requirements.


• In-depth understanding of AML/CTF laws, regulations, principles, and compliance frameworks applicable to the non-banking financial sector.


• Proven ability to establish, implement, and monitor compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.


• Proficiency in data analytics tools and compliance monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the company’s compliance framework to ensure adherence to applicable laws, FRA regulations, and internal policies and procedures.


• Prepare and present periodic compliance reports to senior management and the Board of Directors, highlighting key risks, regulatory developments, and compliance issues.


• Oversee the implementation of AML/CTF policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and reporting obligations.


• Ensure the timely preparation and submission of AML/CTF reports and records to the relevant regulatory authorities.


• Monitor regulatory watchlists, sanctions lists, and negative customer lists, ensuring their integration into the company’s systems and appropriate screening processes.


• Oversee the implementation of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) procedures, where applicable.


• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and money laundering risks through effective monitoring, controls, and periodic reviews.


• Ensure employees’ adherence to compliance requirements and promote a strong compliance culture across the organization.
