Job Summary:

We're looking for a Senior MEP Draftsman to produce accurate, fully coordinated BIM models and drawings for MEP systems on construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Develop BIM models and drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems in Revit
Produce shop, coordination, and as-built drawings in line with project specifications
Run Clash Detection (Navisworks) and coordinate with architectural and structural models
Set up Revit projects: levels, grids, views, view templates, and linked models
Create and maintain parametric Revit families, templates, and shared parameters
Model Ducts, Pipes, Cable Trays, Containment, and Equipment Layouts with Correct Sizing and Routing
Prepare builder's work drawings, including sleeves, openings, and equipment bases
Follow the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and required LOD for each project stage
Apply naming conventions, model standards, and clean model organization
Run model health checks: warnings, purging, file size, and audit
Build custom tags, annotations, and schedules, and extract quantities and BOQ data from the model
Use Dynamo or automation tools to speed up repetitive modeling tasks
Export models for coordination and review (IFC, NWC, DWG, PDF
Work in shared models using work sets and cloud collaboration platforms
Prepare drawings for material and equipment submittals
Join coordination meetings and follow up on open issues

Requirements:

Diploma or bachelor's in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field
8:10 years of MEP Drafting Experience, preferably in construction (Mandatory)
Experience on large-scale projects (buildings, infrastructure, industrial)
Excellent Command of BIM Modelling and Autodesk Revit (MEP)
Outstanding Experience in AutoCAD; Navisworks is a plus
Solid knowledge of MEP systems and international standards (NFPA, ASHRAE, SMACNA, IEC)
Proven ability to build Parametric Revit families
Good English and the ability to read technical specifications
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills.
