They will lead curriculum development and school improvement, develop and empower teaching teams, and ensure students are well prepared for external examinations and future academic pathways. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the culture, standards and future direction of a developing Senior School, working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school leadership team. Essential Requirements • A recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or equivalent. • Significant successful teaching experience in secondary education, ideally within the British curriculum. • Proven leadership experience as a current senior leader or an ambitious middle leader ready to step up. • Strong knowledge of Key Stages 3 and 4, curriculum planning, assessment and academic progression. • Experience preparing students for IGCSE and, where applicable, A Level examinations. • A track record of improving teaching quality, student attainment and learning outcomes. • Experience leading, coaching and developing teachers and middle leaders. • Strong understanding of assessment data, school improvement planning and quality assurance. • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. • A commitment to safeguarding, pastoral care, inclusion and student wellbeing. • The resilience and adaptability required to lead within a growing international school. Desirable Experience • Previous experience as a Head of Secondary, Deputy Head, Assistant Head or equivalent. • Experience establishing or developing secondary provision in a growing school. • Experience with IGCSE and A Level programmes and examination-board requirements. • Experience working in a reputable British international school. • An ability to work collaboratively with school leadership and maintain strong relationships with parents and the wider community.
