Staff Qa Engineer

Job Summary

Were looking for a Staff QA Engineer- Manual & Automation to join Procores QA Engineering Team. In this role you will design and execute software testing plans for various key customer-facing and internal applications. You should be self-motivated creative and proactive ready to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and a distributed architecture diverse technologies and lab environments. You will work closely with developers project managers DevOps engineers and other stakeholders.
This role reports to the QA Manager and is based in Cairo Egypt. Were looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What youll do:

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

• Design and execute test cases

• Design and maintain E2E automated tests

• Verify that the implemented software meets the business requirements

• Suggest functionality improvements based on usability standards

• Review requirements documents in terms of consistency completeness and correctness.

• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

• Serve as a leader and mentor to more junior QA engineers within your team

What were looking for:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other related field

• 8 years of experience in software testing

• Proficient in writing SQL queries

• Self-driven problem-solver with demonstrable critical thinking skills

• Thorough understanding of software testing methodologies QA tools and Agile principles

• Proven knowledge and experience in various test levels (system integration performance regression and user acceptance)

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple diverse projects simultaneously

• Experience in automation testing preferably using Cypress and JavaScript

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Experience in API testing

• Experience in performance and load testing will be considered a huge plus
