Reporting to the Head of Engineering MEA this position requires an enthusiastic individual who is capable of managing multiple projects and has extensive experience in formwork design.

You will be responsible for:

• Analyzing structural drawings provided by clients
• Implementing formwork solutions in accordance with project requirements and/or instructions of the Sales Engineer Senior Project Designer and/or Team Leader
• Proposing the most economical and technically sound solutions
• Conducting basic static calculations and advanced structural analyses
• Producing material lists offer drawings and shop drawings
• Assisting Sales Engineers with site visits and client presentations
• Coordinating the timely delivery of shop drawings as per instructions
• Collaborating with clients to resolve technical issues
• Ensuring effective coordination with other stakeholders and departments
• Considering material availability during the design stage
• Communicating with the sales department in the absence of Team Leader

Qualifications :

• Degree in Civil or Technical Engineering and/or equivalent education
• Minimum three years of experience in formwork engineering (and statics)
• Knowledge of Doka Formwork Systems will be an advantage
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; working experience with BIM models in Revit & Inventor is an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills and technical proficiency
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Good team player with attention to detail and a feel for economic matters
• Strong communication skills with conciseness and clarity when communicating with multiple stakeholders e.g. clients
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel and be mobile
