Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment, and ensuring the application of hygiene and food safety standards within the kitchen.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Washing, cleaning, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, and equipment used in the kitchen.
Maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and prep areas.
Disposing of waste properly and keeping garbage collection areas clean.
Assisting the kitchen team with cleaning tasks and daily support.
Adhering to food safety, health, and occupational safety standards.
Using cleaning materials and tools in a safe and correct manner.
Reporting any malfunctions or shortages in cleaning tools and supplies.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a steward or kitchen cleaning role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitization standards.
Ability to work within a team and handle work pressure.
Commitment, discipline, and attention to detail.
Willingness to work in shifts, including holidays when necessary.
