Role Description The English Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate, engaging English language lessons that support early literacy, communication skills, and social-emotional development in young learners. Day-to-day activities include preparing lesson plans and classroom materials, facilitating interactive learning through play-based and sensory activities, assessing student progress, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. The teacher will collaborate with school leadership and peers to align teaching practices with the institution’s educational framework, communicate regularly with families about student development, and participate in training and school events as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo.

Qualifications

• Strong English language proficiency, with clear communication skills and the ability to teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking to preschool-aged children.
• Demonstrated classroom management abilities, including creating a positive learning climate, guiding behavior in a supportive manner, and ensuring student safety and wellbeing.
• Experience designing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and learning materials that support early childhood development and engagement.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues, school leadership, and families, including providing regular feedback on student progress and participating in team initiatives.
• Minimum of a relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, English, or a related field; formal training in preschool or early years education is preferred.
• Previous experience working with preschool or early years students in an educational setting, preferably in English-language or international schools.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs, maintain cultural sensitivity, and uphold inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, follow school policies and procedures, and support the broader educational mission of the institution.
