Tax & VAT Consultant (Part-Time / On-Site Consulting Visits)

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Consulting Basis On-Site Visits (No Full-Time Commitment Required)

Position Overview

A leading consulting firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Tax & Value Added Tax

(VAT) Consultant with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the Saudi tax

system. The consultant will provide on-site advisory services review clients tax compliance

support tax planning and assist in resolving tax-related matters in accordance with the

regulations of the Zakat Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).

Key Responsibilities

* Provide professional tax advisory services in accordance with Saudi tax laws and ZATCA

regulations.

* Review and validate VAT and other tax returns before submission.

* Assess clients tax compliance and identify potential risks or areas for improvement.

* Advise clients on VAT implementation and ongoing compliance.

* Assist clients in resolving tax disputes assessments and compliance issues.

* Represent clients in meetings and communications with ZATCA when required.

* Prepare tax objections appeals and supporting documentation.

* Deliver periodic reports with recommendations to enhance tax compliance.

* Conduct workshops and awareness sessions for clients on tax regulations and recent

legislative updates.

* Stay up to date with new tax laws regulations and ZATCA requirements.

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Taxation or a related field.

* Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in taxation within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

* Strong expertise in Saudi VAT regulations Withholding Tax Zakat and other applicable tax

laws.

* Proven experience dealing directly with ZATCA and its procedures.

* Extensive experience in preparing tax returns objections and tax settlements.

* Excellent analytical problem-solving and reporting skills.

* Strong communication and client relationship management skills.

* Professional tax certifications are considered an advantage.
