Job Summary
The Health & Safety Supervisor ensures a safe secure and compliant environment for guests employees and a busy hotel setting this role focuses on preventing accidents enforcing safety standards and maintaining compliance with local regulations and brand policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safety Compliance & Policies
- Ensure the hotel complies with Egyptian health & safety laws and Accor standards
- Develop implement and update HSE policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across all departments
2. Risk Assessment
- Identify workplace hazards (kitchens housekeeping maintenance etc.)
- Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor high-risk areas such as fire systems pools and kitchens
3. Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety induction training for new employees
- Organize fire drills and emergency response exercises
- Promote safety awareness campaigns among staff
4. Incident Management
- Investigate accidents injuries and near-misses
- Prepare incident reports and recommend preventive measures
- Maintain records of all safety-related incidents
5. Emergency Preparedness
- Ensure fire safety systems are operational (alarms extinguishers exits)
- Coordinate emergency evacuation procedures
- Act as a key contact during emergencies
6. Hygiene & Health Control
- Monitor food safety practices (HACCP compliance)
- Ensure proper sanitation in kitchens and public areas
- Work closely with housekeeping and F&B departments
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree (or diploma) in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- 25 years of experience in hospitality or hotel safety
- Strong knowledge of fire safety risk assessment and emergency procedures
- Good communication skills (Arabic & English)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Additional Information :

Prior experience working with Opera Cloud or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English additional languages are a plus
